    Summary

    Intraventricular injection of polyamines like spermine and spermidine effectively induces hyperglycemia in animals. This effect is mediated by the adrenal medulla and is sensitive to reserpine treatment.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the hyperglycemic effects of polyamines.
