Investigation of a valuable biochemical indicator in radiotherapy. II. Plasma free hemoglobin and haptoglobin level
Abstract:
The hemoglobin level of blood plasma is a sensitive tool in measuring radiation effects. Its value has increased in most of the cases during radiotherapy of cancer patients even applied at low doses. Haptoglobins behave similarly, the time-dependent changes during radiotherapy are almost identical at both parameters.
