[Duplications of the gastro-intestinal tract (author's transl)]

Duplications of the stomach, small and large bowel are rare. In cases of communication with the lumen of the GI-tract, a reliable diagnosis can be made by radiography. Without direct communication these duplications present as fluid filled cystic mass lesions and therefore are difficult to specify radiographically.
