    • Gastroenterology

    Background:

    • Peritoneal lavage is a common medical procedure.
    • Existing techniques may carry risks of complications.
    • Minimizing morbidity is crucial in patient care.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To introduce a new technique for peritoneal lavage.
    • To evaluate the safety and complication rate of this novel method.
    • To assess the feasibility of the technique across multiple practitioners.

    Main Methods:

    • Development of a specialized peritoneal lavage technique.
    • Application of the technique in a clinical setting.
    • Data collection on patient outcomes and complications.

    Main Results:

    • The developed peritoneal lavage technique was used in 110 patients.
    • The procedure was performed by 45 independent physicians.
    • Zero complications or morbidity were reported during the study period.

    Conclusions:

    • The novel peritoneal lavage technique is associated with an extremely low risk of complications.
    • The technique is safe and effective across a diverse group of physicians.
    • This method offers a promising alternative for peritoneal lavage procedures.
