    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the effectiveness of acupuncture for anxiety neurosis.
    • To explore the underlying mechanisms of acupuncture in treating anxiety.

    • Eight patients diagnosed with anxiety neurosis were enrolled.
    • Acupuncture was administered to all participants.
    • Patient responses were assessed for improvement.

    • Six out of eight patients (75%) showed good to moderate improvement.

    • Acupuncture appears to be a viable treatment option for anxiety neurosis.
