Abstract:
The incidence of retrotransverse groove (canal) in the Indian atlas vertebrae was 43.93 percent. The groove was present in 31 (25.20 percent) specimens, canal in 14 (11.40 percent) specimens and canal and groove in 9 (7.33 percent) specimens.
