    Summary

    Thyrotoxicosis frequently causes subclinical myopathy, detectable by electromyography, even when muscle weakness is not apparent. This study found electromyographic muscle changes in all thyrotoxic patients, highlighting the prevalence of thyrotoxic myopathy.

    Background:
