    Background:

    • C-banding is a standard cytogenetic technique.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the diagnostic significance of heterochromatic variants in couples with a history of recurrent abortions.
    • To determine if variations in heterochromatin are associated with recurrent pregnancy loss.

    • A case-control study was conducted over 15 months.
    • Fifty couples with a history of recurrent abortions were analyzed.
