    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the presence of virus-like particles in splenic tissue from patients with specific hematological disorders.

    • Surgical splenectomy specimens from four patients (three with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, one with hemolytic anemia) were examined.
