|November 1, 1979
Abstract:
The case study of a 7-yr-old boy who was diagnosed as autistic is reported. The cooperative efforts of a teacher of the severely emotionally disturbed, a speech pathologist, and the child's parents were combined to create an optimal situation for the facilitation of behavior change and language development. Examples of the procedures used and the child's progress over a 2 1/2-yr period are presented and described.
