Abstract:
Removal of air from the anterior chamber in aliquot parts following anterior segment surgery is not an innocuous procedure without complications. A two-way 30-gauge cannula for simultaneous irrigation and aspiration in order to keep the anterior chamber at a constant volume thus avoiding too rapid decompression is described.
