[Overall treatment of trophic ulcers of the lower extremities]

The authors have analyzed 114 patients with venous trophic ulcers and came to a concluion of their having chronic autoimmunization. To confirm the clinical observations the laboratory determination of the serum autoantibodies by A. I. Nikolaev's reaction of precipitation was performed. In the blood of 52 patients antibodies to the paravenous fat, skin and varicosely dilated subcutaneous and communicating veins were found. These investigations helped to choose a pathogenetically based complex of curative measures, with the autoimmune agression taken into account.
