The establishment of the Anaesthetic Department in Benghazi

The author has worked in Benghazi for 2 1/2 years. He has contributed in the establishment of the deparment of anaesthesia of the University of Garyounis. The problems of establishing the Department of Anaesthesia in Benghazi are reported and their solution discussed. Some recommendations for the future progress of the specialty in Benghazi are also included.
