    Background:

    • Ménétrier's disease is a rare disorder characterized by gastric mucosal hypertrophy.
    • It is associated with protein loss and can present with various gastrointestinal symptoms.

    Observation:

    • Three patients with Ménétrier's disease experienced massive upper gastrointestinal bleeding (haematemesis).
    • One of these patients unfortunately died due to the condition.

    • Ménétrier's disease is a potential, albeit rare, cause of significant upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
    • Elevated serum gastrin levels were observed in one patient, suggesting a possible link.

    • Further investigation into the role of gastrin in Ménétrier's disease-associated bleeding is warranted.
