Covert seizures as a cause of postoperative apnea

Covert seizures expressed as apnea may occur in the immediate postoperative period, and they should be suspected particularly in the known seizure-disorder patient. Management includes ventilation with O2 and avoidance of inappropriate administration of reversal drugs.
