Abstract:
Under analysis were 244 resections of the liver made for focal lesions and cirrhosis. It was established that insufficient drainage after operation was responsible for the development of different purulent complications (abscess of the residual cavity, purulent fistulas). The experimental and clinical material shows that the adequate drainage can be fulfilled by tubular drains with active aspiration in the postoperative period and with using vacuum microaspirator.
