Abstract:
The author describe an animal model in order to investigate defects or alterations within oocytes and oviductal or uterine environment which can affect their developmental potential. The results from this study seem to demonstrate that aging reduces the fertilizability of the oocytes, while the adverse effects of aberrant hormonal levels can be avoided through the use of in vitro procedures.
