[Manifest chickenpox reinfection in pregnancy with low varicella antibody titer?]
Geburtshilfe Und Frauenheilkunde
|October 1, 1984
Abstract:
The report concerns a case of an obvious varicella reinfection during pregnancy and the course of varicella-IgG and -IgM titers, respectively. By means of early diagnosis with an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (Elisa) and immediate application of a high - titered commercial varicella-zoster immunoglobuline, an infection of the foetus was probably prevented.
