[Condylomatous lesions: stages of cervical carcinogenesis]

Cervical condylomatous lesions are associated with a sexually transmissible virus: the Human papilloma virus. The authors discuss its highly probable carcinogenic role and they analyse its epidemiological profile, histoclinical data and the results of virological research.
