Median nerve compression lesions. Anatomical and clinical analysis
Abstract:
The motor and/or sensory zones of the median nerve may be compressed at one or more points along its course from the cervical roots to the common digital nerves. If sensory and/or motor deficiencies persist, the compressive lesion should be localized, defined by clinical and electro-diagnostic studies, and treated either nonsurgically or surgically, depending on the fundamental pathological process.
