[Considerations concerning the establishing of a seniors' academy in Giessen (author's transl)]

Relying on experience with aged students in research seminars, the political, institutional, organizational, and educational implications of establishing a Seniors' Academy are discussed and the expectations of the university as well as of the future participants are anticipated.
