Anaesthetic arrhythmias: is there rational therapy?

Only some anaesthetic ventricular arrhythmias have a rational basis for therapy which is the use of beta-antagonist agents. Generally ventricular arrhythmias will respond empirically to class I agents. Complex drug interactions may lead to arrhythmias which can be avoided.
