[Treatment of experimentally produced wounds by BIOPLAST (author's transl)]

Two series of wounds made by excision were included in this experiment and both healed well with the application of Bioplast. This result encouraged the authors to recommend it for the treatment of other skin defects and burns as well. An excessive degree of epithelization was often found over the granulation tissue, and in these cases a definitive wound cover was provided with Bioplast, which needed only minor aftercare.
