[Application of Opsite at donor sites, burns and postoperative wounds (author's transl)]
Abstract:
The article reports on the Opsite foil and its properties. This is a film consisting of polyurethane which is permeable to gas and water vapour. Prolonged skin contact does not produce an allergic reaction. The wound becomes rapidly covered with an epithelium. Opsite is an extremely successful dressing for covering donor areas and wounds from burns, as well as postoperative wounds.
