In cases of severe hand injury, if it is possible the final supply and treatment is immediately done. In case of crushed injuries they endeavour to keep the fingers, or in case of amputation they tend to the replantation of those. The replantation of a subtotally amputated right thumb in zone III. was demonstrated in detail.
