Summary

A new cholera toxoid vaccine, administered orally or intramuscularly, effectively stimulates intestinal secretory immunoglobulin A (IgA) antitoxin responses in Bangladeshi volunteers. Oral vaccination showed a more sustained IgA response compared to intramuscular delivery.
