Is "cerebral hyponatraemia" iatrogenic?
Hyponatraemia in patients with central nervous system (CNS) disease is often due to excessive fluid intake, not inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion. Limiting intravenous fluids is recommended during acute stress.
