Management of a nonreactive nonstress test in a twin gestation. A case report

The increased risk associated with multiple gestation requires antepartum fetal surveillance with electronic fetal heart rate monitoring. Occasionally the nonstress test is abnormal in one fetus. We reviewed such a case for the pertinent questions about management of a nonreactive nonstress test in a twin gestation. From the case and the literature we formulated a protocol for management.
