Power spectral analysis of the flash-evoked after-discharge
Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology
|February 1, 1981
Abstract:
A quantitative measure of the flash-evoked after-discharge (FEAD) in the rat was derived using power spectral analysis. The utility of this method of measurement was demonstrated by quantifying the suppression of FEAD by the drug yohimbine. This method of quantification would facilitate the use of FEAD for the purpose of screening antiepileptic drugs.
