Secondary polycythaemia

The secondary polycythaemias are classified on an aetio-pathological basis and the main pathological and clinical features of the individual types are presented in the light of data in the literature and own observations in 138 cases seen during 15 years. The general lines and possibilities of therapy are discussed.
