Deep stromal vascularization associated with cosmetic, daily-wear contact lenses

Deep stromal vascularization and corneal opacification occurred in three patients with normal eyes who wore hard and soft contact lenses on a daily basis. To our knowledge, this complication has not been reported in association with daily-wear contact lenses.
