Pulmonary veno-occlusive disease due to bleomycin therapy for lymphoma. Case reports
Abstract:
Two patients with lymphocytic lymphoma and bleomycin-induced pulmonary toxicity were shown at autopsy to have pulmonary venular alterations identical to pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (PVOD). While hepatic veno-occlusive disease due to alkylating agents has been reported, I am unaware of any report of PVOD related to bleomycin therapy.
