Growth inhibition of staphylococci and streptococci in raw milk

Abstract:
The activity of quinaldofur and penicillin against staphylococci and streptococci was influenced by aerobic conditions and by the presence of antibacterial agents in raw milk. The cooperation of these agents with penicillin against streptococci but not against staphylococci was mainly observed. On the other hand, one strain of staphylococci was apparently protected against penicillin by agents present in active milk.
