The behaviour of thrombocytes during blood donation of 400 ml is investigated in the present paper. In general, a short-term increase of thrombocyte numbers to double the amount on an average could be observed in all blood donors. In 19 donors of a total of 39 the increase occurred after collecting 100 ml.
