Abstract:
This is a retrospective analysis of a series of 124 patients suffering from osseous metastases following surgery of cancer of the female breast and different forms of its treatment. Concerning the rate of survival time the best results could be obtained by chemotherapy (hormones, cytostatic drugs) in combination with irradiation or without it. After chemotherapy the pain relief was prompt and impressive.
