Abstract:
When gas pockets previously formed in the dorsal subcutaneous tissue of the rat are filled with pure oxygen (F0(2) = 1) no local vascular extravasation is provoked. Blood vessels of the pocket walls do not exhibit the same reactivity as the peritoneal ones to hyperoxic gaseous mixtures.
