Polymorphonuclear neutrophils express the common acute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen
Monoclonal antibodies targeting the common acute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen (CALLA) also stain normal polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN). This cross-reactivity could lead to false-positive diagnostic results in leukemia detection.
