Sweden's approach to health screening for preschool children

The findings of a recent study of the approach taken by Sweden to a perceived problem in that nation's child health care system are reviewed. The Swedish experience is discussed in terms of its application to the United States, with particular reference to EPSDT and the newly proposed Child Health Assessment Program.
