    Monocytes are not required for concanavalin-A (Con A) induced suppressor activity in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). These cells do not contribute to or mediate Con A-driven suppression in lymphocyte activation.

    Background:

    • Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) are known to exhibit concanavalin-A (Con A) induced suppressor activity.
