[An unusual cause of intestinal infarction: cholestérol embolization (author's transl)]

The authors report the observation of an infarction of the small bowel caused by cholesterol embolization. A review of the literature shows the rarity of such cases. Nevertheless, this etiology should be considered in gastrointestinal bleeding in atheromatous people.
