Abstract:
Two analogs of human beta-endorphin containing cystine bridges between positions 21 and 26 or 14 and 26 have been synthesized and their radioligand binding activity using rat brain membranes has been determined. Both peptides showed three to four times the binding activity of human beta-endorphin.
