[Benign tumours of the female breast (author's transl)]

In a period of 25 years 289 women suffering from benign tumours of the breast were seen at our Dept. This number comes up to a percentage of 20.5 of all female patients treated in this time for diseases of the mamma. Pathology, symptoms, treatment and prognosis of benign tumours of the female breast are dealt with.
