[A new therapeutic approach to urogenital tuberculosis]

The authors comment on the new treatment methods used in cases of urogenital tuberculosis. The progress made has led to a reduction in the duration of medical treatment. The introduction of rifampicine, and the combination of medical treatment with transurethral techniques, have to a great extent reduced surgery and consequently morbidity from urogenital tuberculosis.
