    Summary

    Repeated exposure to ethylene oxide gas caused sensorimotor polyneuropathy in two workers. Symptoms improved after ethylene oxide exposure ceased, indicating a reversible condition.

    Background:

    • Ethylene oxide (EtO) is a widely used industrial chemical with known toxic properties.
    • Understanding the neurological effects of chronic EtO exposure is crucial for worker safety.

    Observation:

    • Two industrial workers developed sensorimotor polyneuropathy after prolonged occupational exposure to ethylene oxide.
