Glomus tympanicum tumours: demonstration by high resolution C.T

The situation and extent of small glomus tumours confined to the middle ear cavity have been reliably demonstrated by high resolution C.T. The distinctive clinical and radiological features of four cases are described. High resolution C.T. is now considered to be the definitive radiological investigation and angiography is regarded as an unnecessary procedure in most patients with this condition.
