[Epidemiology of renal epithelioma in adults]

The frequency of renal epithelioma is very high in the Bas-Rhin department (France) (9,92 per 100 000 among the male population). The various risk factors are considered: the ethnic group, genetic factors, tobacco, alcohol; all these factors are not very important. But the intake of animal lipids and proteins could be an important factor to induce renal epithelioma.
