Abstract:
Literature and author's data are discussed concerning the participation of catecholaminergic mechanisms of brain in the control of chemoreactive properties of cerebral neurones. It is supposed that the basis of changes in properties of neurones involved in formation of temporary connection is an activation of catecholaminergic--reinforcing--neuro-transmitter mechanisms and coerulo-telencephalic system in particular. The importance of the interaction between neuro-transmitter systems and neuropeptides in the neurochemical ensurance of reinforcement is also stressed.
