    • Pediatric Oncology
    • Soft Tissue Sarcoma Research
    • Cancer Histopathology

    Background:

    • Synovial sarcomas (malignant synovialomas) are rare malignant tumors.
    • These soft-tissue sarcomas are infrequently diagnosed in pediatric patients.
    • Existing literature on pediatric synovial sarcomas is limited.

    Observation:

    • The authors present a case of synovial sarcoma in a child.
    • This case highlights diagnostic complexities.
    • The case also underscores therapeutic challenges.

    Findings:

    • Review of literature on pediatric synovial sarcomas.
    • Detailed analysis of a specific pediatric case.
    • Discussion of differential diagnosis for soft-tissue tumors in children.

    Implications:

    • Improved understanding of rare pediatric cancers.
    • Guidance for differential diagnosis in pediatric soft-tissue lesions.
    • Informed therapeutic strategies for pediatric synovial sarcoma.
