Computer-assisted tomography (CT) is an evolving imaging modality.
Assessing knee joint structures presents unique challenges for imaging techniques.

To analyze the contributions and limitations of computer-assisted tomography for knee joint evaluation.
To outline positioning and discuss indications for knee CT.

Examination of the knee in transaxial, sagittal, semi-sagittal, and coronal planes.
