Epithelial ingrowth on an intraocular lens
Abstract:
Following 36 months of chronic uveitis and glaucoma, an epithelial membrane was documented over the retrocorneal surface, the iris, chamber intraocular lens, and surface of the intraocular lens. In spite of an inhospitable surface for cell growth, an intraocular lens can support the proliferation of epithelium.
